Chalk It Up to Fire Safety Awareness Campaign

For Fire Prevention Month, we’re asking YOU to help us spread fire safety messages in your neighborhood.

  • Kids (or adults), pick one of the safety messages below, or a similar message.
  • Draw a fire helmet, fire engine, or hydrant (or get creative) with a safety message.
  • Email a photo or short video to us and include your mailing address. We'll keep your address private.
  • We’ll showcase your work of art on our social media pages, and you’ll receive something from us in the mail!

Safety messages:

  1. In case of a fire, know two ways out of any room.
  2. “Fire won’t wait, plan your escape.” What’s your home escape plan?
  3. Never play with fire!
  4. Stay fire safe every day.
  5. Test your smoke detectors.
  6. See smoke: get low and go.
  7. Fire safety starts with me.
  8. Close before you doze.

The campaign will run from 10/5 at 12:00 AM – 10/13 at 11:59 PM. Please submit chalk art here.

*Obey the law by only chalking up property that you own or have permission to use.*
