The Bicycle Advisory Group (BAG) was established by Howard County Code Section 6.408 to "advise the County Executive and County Administration" on matters of bicycle transportation, particularly the implementation of the Bicycle Master Plan.

The BAG has adopted Rules of Procedure to ensure orderly and productive meetings.
Next Meeting
- If you wish to attend the next virtual BAG meeting, it will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. The link to pre-register (or simply to attend that day) will be posted here the week prior to the meeting.
- Anyone who is interested in signing up to make a public comment, please send inquires by email by 8 a.m. the day of the meeting to transportation@howardcountymd.gov.

The BAG meets at least quarterly. Meetings are held on Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Meetings are currently held virtually on the Webex platform.

Certain agencies and organizations are required to have representatives on the Bicycle Advisory Group (BAG), and other members may be admitted at the discretion of the Administrator of the Office of Transportation.
