ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Vendor applications are now being accepted for Howard County’s annual GreenFest, back for its 15th year on Saturday, April 9th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Howard Community College’s Burrill Galleria, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia. Last year’s mini outside event drew hundreds of attendees and featured native plant vendors, compost bin give-a-ways and document shredding. Masks will be required indoors at all times.
GreenFest is an opportunity for our community to come together, and be empowered to protect our environment, and support a sustainable future for our planet. There are so many residents, businesses and organizations here in Howard County and our region who are innovating, advocating and paving the way for the critical changes necessary to preserve our world.
GreenFest is open to all vendors and exhibitors that highlight environmentally conscious products, services, activities and opportunities for community involvement.
GreenFest is a great opportunity to learn about the amazing sustainability efforts undertaken by Howard County government, local non-profits and businesses.
Each exhibit space includes a five-foot table and two chairs. Cost to all vendors is $35 per table, with an additional $10 late fee charged to those who apply after Friday, February 11th. Sponsorship opportunities for $100 are also available. Cost includes two tables and special mention in the GreenFest brochure and on the GreenFest website.
Preference will be given to local businesses and organizations that promote environmentally friendly goods and services. Additionally, there will be a limit of 50 indoor vendors/exhibitors at the event, so interested vendors/exhibitors are encouraged to apply now to secure their opportunity to showcase their ‘green’ at the 2022 GreenFest.
Vendor and sponsorship applications are available on the GreenFest website at www.HCGreenFest.org. Applications must be submitted electronically.
For more information and/or assistance with submitting an application, contact Mr. Alan Wilcom with the County’s Department of Public Works at 410-313-6433 or email awilcom@howardcountymd.gov.
