This funding provides an opportunity to support initiatives that can make a difference in our community. We encourage those serving and working in the community to submit applications that will address housing needs and gaps in innovative ways.
The application is now open and can be found on DHCD’s website, along with application requirements. Applications are due by no later than 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 14th.
A virtual pre-proposal conference is scheduled for Tuesday, March 14th at 2:00 pm. Interested applicants may ask questions about the HOTF NOFA requirements during the conference. To receive a link to participate in the pre-proposal conference on the 14th, please email Kanise Lewis at klewis@howardcountymd.gov by March 10th.
The County is currently reviewing applications from potential members for the HOTF Committee. Selected members will be contacted in March. Following the HOTF NOFA submission deadline of April 14th, the HOTF Advisory Committee will review applications and make recommendations to the DHCD Board for consideration. The DHCD Board will review the committee’s recommendations and provide pre-approval decisions to the DHCD Director. Applicants will be notified of final decisions by Monday, May 15th.
